WWE set to return to Kingston

wweWorld Wrestling Entertainment will return to Kingston’s Rogers K-Rock Centre for a live show on Sunday, July 6, the same day it also has a show at Toronto’s Ricoh Coliseum, Chinlock.com has learned.

The following night, WWE is expected to host its flagship show — Monday Night Raw — at Montreal’s Bell Centre.

Details about the show’s card are expected to be unveiled when tickets go on sale, early next month.

Kingston last hosted a WWE event on March 2, 2013, when a star-studded Road to WrestleMania tour touched down in the Limestone City, its card boasting the likes of John Cena, CM Punk, Sheamus, The Shield and others.

More than 4,000 fans packed the K-Rock Centre that day.

More details will be posted as they become available.
